So what, we are to believe that testing on animals whose cellular structure, physiology, immunology, nervous systems, etc., are radically different from humans is safer and more reliable than computer modeling and tests on cultured human cells? Come on–before you mock the logic behind someone else’s solution, you might want to take a harder look at the assumptions underlying your own argument.
No single animal has ever been successfully infected with a human bacteriological or viral agent. Vaccine tests conducted on animals are so inconclusive that many of the vaccines which have made it to market have caused more harm than they have prevented. The only reason vivisectionists continue to break animals’ backs, implant electrodes into their skulls, burn them alive, slam their heads into steel plates, feed them narcotics and alcohol, induce cancer in them, etc., is because these “tests” allow pharmeceutical and household product companies to bring products to market which are, in fact, not safe for or effective for humans–not to mention the fact that researchers need those research dollars which these tests ensure.
The only valuable and reliable (not to mention ethical) forms of medical research and product testing are those conducted via computer modeling and human cell culture tests. Stop buying into the propaganda fed to you by the vivisectionists…and at the same time help protect the dignity of all life, not just human life.
